Foster Property Developments Projects
College of West Anglia Horticultural College site
The largest site in our portfolio, we are currently exploring development of the old College of West Anglia Horticultural College site on the A1101, Elm Road. Currently our plans are to construct 139 high quality, architecturally-designed homes over the next few years. This low density site will have a mixture of properties including a small number of bungalows, apartments, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses.
The Homestead and Church Farm
The Homestead is a farmhouse adjacent to the Church at Church End, Parson. The associated farm and property has been in the Foster family for nearly a century.
Currently being remodelled, we are carrying out a complete renovation (with associated extensions), to the Homestead, and a complete rebuild of the adjacent set of barns which will be transformed into high quality residences. These will go on sale during the latter half of 2017.
We are working closely with the current owners and have commissioned an architect to develop a scheme which would comprise commercial and retail space, to enhance the waterfront and compliment regeneration that has already taken place. We have currently acquired the Court House, police station and adjacent property which we hope to incorporate into the scheme. This remains a work in progress.
Kilhams Barn, was our next project undertaken. The brief was for a high quality, energy efficient, flexible office space, set in a tranquil location within landscaped gardens in order to facilitate an enhanced working environment that would attract like-minded businesses to the location.
Foster Business Park
Boleness Road, Wisbech.
Our first project was Foster Business Park, Boleness Road, Wisbech which was commenced in 2006. The scheme consisted of eight high quality modern and technically efficient business units. All are fully occupied and we are actively seeking to develop further projects in this area.
